Services
What is included in this service:
The course of dental implant treatment is scientifically very well studied and, with a few exceptions, is very schematic. The optimal time for implant placement is three months after tooth removal. At this time, the wound has healed, but the bone has not yet receded much.At the first appointment, we take a 3D X-ray of the jaw and plan the ideal position of the dental implant. At the next appointment, the dental implant is inserted. During the operation, a hole is prepared for the dental implant. The implant is then inserted into this hole. At the beginning the implant holds like a screw in the wall because the screw is bigger than the prepared hole. This stability is the prerequisite for the implant to grow firmly. In the following three months, the body's own bone cells grow onto the surface of the implant. As a result, the implant is firmly anchored. Now it can be used for anchoring the dental crown and thus replacing the missing tooth.
Capabilities:
The material of the implant must be well tolerated by the body so that it can grow together with the bone cells. Titanium and zirconium oxide can be used for this purpose.
Benefits:
Titanium implants are very well studied and offer more technical possibilities for restoration. Ceramic implants are metal-free and tooth-colored.
